Logo Design Brief

We are a cruise booking business, the middle man between travel agents and cruise companies.
We need a new logo design for our business cards and website (which will soon be updated also)
We have extensive knowledge of cruise itineraries all over the world and want our logo to represent this.
Nothing too complicated or 'messy', clean lines and sophisticated design, preferably with either a wave/water or a ship included.
We have attached an image of our current logo below as a reference. We would like it as similar to our current design as possible but modernised and with white and blues.
