Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a major dog show event. The focal point of the logo is the drawing of the dog attached (on a light/white background, not black). I am hoping to have a logo that is reminiscent of the National Park posters (examples attached) with the Grand Teton mountain range, and maybe incorporating a Sego Lily (the Utah state flower). While the dog is more detailed, the other pieces should be relatively simple. This logo will be applied to clothing and will most likely need to be embroidered as well. To that end, I am trying to keep the number of colors used limited.
