Hi all!

Due to the designs we have had submitted not being on-brand with the independent garden centres and high-end stores we are looking to be stocked in, we have decided to extend the competition another 5 days.

Generally, the designs didn't organically look like they fit together with single elements that were not cohesive. There was lots of basic designs with white and green colour schemes, empty space and a lack of interest. Overall, the designs lacked the detail needed to catch the eye on a shelf and looked amateurish and too simple. Many were too childish and disjointed, and few, if any, used original ideas in their design. Those that did use pattern were much preferred but lacked something to make them stand out.

We are looking for lively, inviting, colourful designs which are modern and fit seamlessly onto the shelves of a high-end gift stockist such as Oliver Bonas. We are looking for colourful, bold abstract or botanical patterns and images which wrap themselves seamlessly around the box and are balanced out with aesthetically appealing features and typefaces that tie the designs cohesively whilst reflecting our brand ethics. We don't want anything to childish or cartoony, besides the stylised image of the chickpea microgreens on the front face, which also needs to tie in visually in terms of colour and style (Perhaps a watercolour style..). We need something that omits a sense of luxury that will appeal to our affluent and trendy customer base.

I have updated the mood-board to hopefully further steer you in the right direction - please take a look!

We look forwards to seeing the updated designs. Thank you!
