Logo Design Brief

We are looking to redesign out logo that has been in use for 10 years to something more current and legible. Our company name is "MotionLoops" and we primarily sell high end motion graphics backgrounds for the club, VJ and DJ entertainment industry. Please see our website www.motionloops.com to see our existing products and branding.

We do need to keep similar or existing colors to match our website but you are free to give variation since we are redesigning the look and feel of our website this summer.

Requirements

Must have

• Current, energetic, progressive. We spearhead a newer era of DJing and performing with video and our logo should play the part by representing some sort of "performance feel" element to the logo.

Should not have

• Although we sell downloadable motion graphics performance clips, do NOT use a film strip image or icon in this logo. That's too predictable and traditional.
  
  Do not use any user specific elements like headphones, turntables, guitars, etc because the logo must appeal to all kinds of stage performers - from bands and DJs to VJs and live electronic acts. Keep the logo generic enough to span across all these types of performers.
