Logo Design Brief
I’m looking for two logos for my Leathercraft business. One for larger items and an abbreviated version for smaller items.
My current logo has the two aspens which I would like to attempt to keep. I use a bison often and Ive even considered a “brand” style logo. Both logos will need to be able to be made into a stamp, so simpler is better.
I would like something rugged and refined, but not polished, like a timber framed mill turned into a casual bar with a slight industrial feel that carries the most high end whiskeys. (That emotion is the same I suppose. I’m sure someone out there gets that!)
I like the vintage type fonts and scripts as well as the engraver fonts, but not necessary.
Some other design associations may also include Native American stuff, old compasses or lanterns, mountains, barns, or Appalachia related images. All of these things are a part of my story and when there is so much creativity in the world, who knows what people can come up with!
Target Market(s)
People who understand quality and functionality but appreciate the smaller details and ability to be creative and artistic. “Generational Gifts”… the items may not be expensive or fancy always, but one day, a grand child wants it because it was their grand dads.

Requirements
Nice to have
- It would be nice to have parts of the logo that can be used individually that still represent the brand
Should not have
- I would like the design to not be a simple rearrangement or font change of my current logo.
