Book Cover Design Brief
“Queen of Hearts” is a dark suspense thriller about Ella Hill, a violin prodigy, and her mother, Morgan, a charming sociopath and degenerate gambler who seduces anyone she needs or gets in her way – cops, feds … even her daughter.
The log line would be, "Some Mother/Daughter relationships are unhealthy. This one is lethal."
What I'd like to see on the cover is a knife tossed through a playing card -- the queen of hearts. Perhaps to honor Ella's musicianship the outline that contains the art is of a violin.
