Logo Design Brief

Liberty Sweets is a patriotic candy store in Lexington, Massachusetts, USA. Lexington, MA was the start of the Revolutionary War in America and has a historical significance. There is a statue of a Minute Man in the center of town (attached). The candy store is patriotic and provides an old time feeling for kids and adults. I'm looking specifically for a red, white and blue design, or a logo that works with those colors. I'm also looking for a design that captures a playful and patriotic feeling, and if it makes sense, might use a script like the attachment (but not as rigid).

I would like to use this logo on t-shirts, hats, and need to make a store sign out of it. I also need to use it for stickers on bags of candy, and it would be great if the logo could be used in all gold as well, if that makes sense.

The final design should communicate, classic, and patriotism, and also be fun if possible.

I have attached a picture of the washington capitals logo. It's for a hockey team. You see the hockey stick and puck in the lettering. It is patriotic because of the name in the idea that it is in the capital of America.

Let's get a better and more creative logo than a professional sports team!!!
