Logo Design Brief

We need a design to represent this new company. Which will run along side our existing company . I have attached our current Logo for our existing company and would like the same look. Instead of the Road within the logo, could we incorporate a Digger / excavator or excavator arm. I would like to see it in the same colours and Font or maybe Green with a fading to black ? I'm not sure.
