Logo Design Brief

I need a logo very refined, trendy for my real estate company. I work in Montréal as a real estate broker and I will also have a construction company. I would want to use the same logo for the 2 companies or have little variants between both.
My initials are AA so I was thinking of maybe using these letters to remind a roof shape (to remind real estate). For the colors I like the followings: sage green, marine bleu, gold
