Logo Design Brief

We are looking for a logo for our company Arke. We specialise in optics however the logo does not need to include the word optics. We are after something simple and bold that will laser engrave well on our products. Nothing overly complicated, it can have subtle accents or elements around the word but not be distracting or messy. We would prefer clever typography or use of font to give it its own identity. Adapting existing fonts or moving things around to create something new and unique. The logo can be all upper case, all lower case or a mixture, it really is what looks best . It shouldn't feel overly futuristic and certainly not too corporate. We are aligned with the creative arts so should feel modern, clean, simple.

We like the idea of using a clever way to join an A and an O to make a Letter mark logo. with the company name underneath. Again this shouldnt feel too futuristic or corporate. Some examples attached. PLEASE dont just do a straight copy, or a very slight tweak of my uploaded examples. It needs to be original. We really like the last example (Just the letter A) with the Arke text underneath. If someone can come up with something in this direction but original enough, that would be great.
