Illustration Design Brief
I need line art to illustrate a middle grade book about Merkids (mermaids and merboys). I have attached a list of the 16 illustrations requested. Here is an example of one.
"Large metal boat (1930’s or 40’s military type) half buried by sand with just the nose sticking out. Description from the book. ‘While most of the boat was completely covered by sand, the bow stuck out as if sending a message to whatever sank her that she wasn’t about to give up. Her metal frame was completely overgrown with rust and barnacles. A gaping hole near the metal railing gave them access.'
Updates
The book dimensions are 5" w x 8" h. All scenes must fit on pages within these dimensions and also allow for the margins.
