Logo Design Brief
I need to come up with a logo and brand design elements for a company I am building. The company is an app for accountants that will help them close the books for the companies they work for faster. We will sell to CFO's, Controllers, and Accountants. Typically the people in these roles are characterized as ...boring, ...tight, ...nerds (I should know I am a CFO...). Software these roles use is stiff and bland. I want to have a brand that is fresh... smart while at the same time that doesn't take itself too seriously. The word "Crush" has many meanings. 1) You can have a "crush" on someone - meaning you get the tingly feelings when you are around them. Also you can have a "crush" about the work you do. I want our customers to feel that connection to our software - like they love it. 2) You can "crush" a job or task - meaning you nailed it and really delivered. As in "dude you crushed it!". This can mean a positive outcome and people celebrate your win at that task or job. 3) Similar to number 2 in meaning - you can "crush" something - meaning smash it. As in - accounting work is typically monotonous ...tedious...manual... if you "crushed" all of the manual aspects of the work these accountants do ...it would mean they eliminated or destroyed all of the "work" they don't want to do. Ideally the design project here results in an "icon" or "logo" that is separate to the name of the company. Like a heart or something that resembles falling in love with a brand, or a symbol that represents "crushing it" - or a combination of the meanings above. I would like to highlight the word "crush" but include the full name of the business "crush work incorporated" or "crush work inc" or "crush work". I own the domain www.crush.work. I'll be building from this for now. I'm bidding on www.crushwork.com - but am not sure if I will buy it. I will upload some examples of brands that could inspire possible brand design elements.
