Poster Design Brief

I am currently seeking a one sheet or film festival poster for my debut feature film: God Forgive Us.
The synopsis is as follows: God Forgive Us is the dramatic collision of four unwilling, average people struggling through loss, tragedy, addiction and death, as well as uncovering personal completion and happiness in a society painted as simple, convenient and easy.

I will attach a few images which could be used as base or reference, but I don't want any of them used AS IS. This is a requirement.

I will also attach a logo we have made for the film, but feel free to make your own or use your own discretion.


IDEAS:

We are seeking something fairly minimalistic with an appealing color palette that will really stand out. Although the film is more along the lines of 'Crash', 'Requiem for a Dream', 'Girl With The Dragon Tattoo' and 'I Melt With You'.


We will need: One with title and all credits mentioned above. And two, the design and Title Only.

THEMES:

God Forgive Us is an extremely dark film. It is an existentialist drama that displays themes of survival in Western Society, struggles with addiction and drugs, as well as how cold and detached our society has become with emotions in relationships.

Nice to have

• Drugs are a large object in this film, as is death, religion, sexual abuse and alcohol. Feel free to incorporate these in any which way you'd like, but I do not want to see a PURELY religious based poster or theme, as this is not applicable to all stories within the film and is an easy way to make the film out to be something it is not.
  
  Classier font is always a plus, but I don't discourage thinking outside the box.
  
  
  Tag Line:
  Sometimes God Works In Mysterious Ways

Should not have

• No obnoxious, block font like '28 Days Later', 'Collision', or 'PaintScratch' - as these are inappropriate.
  
  Reference images without proper color correction and balance is a no go.
