Logo Design Brief

Need a logo for Point Mechanical Solutions. We provide mechanical consulting for commercial, industrial, and strata businesses. Colours I like are red & blue to imitate the red/hot and blue/cold of water temperatures.
The name "Point" was inspired partially by my consulting and style being "to the point" ie no BS. It also represents my dog who has a pointy tail and ears (Dobby). A photo of her is included as I thought it would be neat to somehow work in her tail and ears into the "point" logo.
The design should communicate simplicity, playfulness and a trusted brand.
