Logo Design Brief

I'm looking for to create a logo for a criminal defense law firm that focuses on providing the best possible criminal defense service. The name of the law firm is "A Better Criminal Defense Experience. The acronym is ABCDE, and the domain is abcde.law. We are currently located in Florida, but intend to branch out to several states. The logo can include the scales of justice or not. The color scheme of blue, white, and black. It should be serious and professional but also friendly.

ABCDE.Law or A Better Criminal Defense Experience can be the focus. I will include our prior logos for reference.

I would like something that works well in different layouts, so I value both horizontal and vertical layouts.
