Logo Design Brief

I have started my own electrical company in Brisbane, Queensland
(QLD) Australia. I predominantly deal with commercial service and maintenance work however I would like to grow into other areas in the future. I would like a logo for this company. I want to stay away from the cliche electrical logos like lightning bolts and plugs. I want something that is less gimicky and more professional.
