Logo Design Brief

My company does exacting , precise and thoughtful workmanship. I like the idea of a combination wordmark and symbol design. I prefer the symbol to be geometrically uniform and possibly abstract like spirograph drawings (Google spirograph). Please no goofy light bulbs or lighting bolts etc, that looks dumb and obvious. I want it to look sophisticated yet simple. I would like the colors to be 2 tone only. That way I can play around with the color combinations easily.
