Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new Renewable Wind Turbine region located in the state of Texas. I would like the logo for have some sort of reference to Texas, but I don't want it to be the shape of Texas or just Red White and Blue colors. I have attached a logo I had created for a specific wind site in the past for reference on style and color. We are the Lone Star Region in the South Hub of our organization, consisting of 8 Wind Sites located all across Texas. Some key features of the specific areas are South Texas known as the valley(Rio Grande Valley), central Texas known for its bluebonnets, and west Texas known for the oilfield. I would be cool to somehow incorporate elements of each those areas, along with have wind turbines,
