Logo Design Brief
The fire department competition group “Löschspritzenrambo” belongs to the Wildeshausen fire department (18-02) in Germany. The central design elements are a fire extinguisher (hollow jet pipe), which symbolizes the firefighting aspect, and a Rambo element. The muscular firefighter with a headband and determined facial expression should either hold the fire extinguisher in his hand or be depicted in protective firefighter clothing with a dynamic heroic pose. The freedom of design is open here. In addition, the coat of arms of the town of Wildeshausen is integrated to establish a reference to the location of the group.
The coat of arms should include the lettering “Löschspritzenrambo” and / or the abbreviation LSR and additionally “Feuerwehr Wildeshausen 18-02”. The lettering should be bold and striking in order to convey dynamism and strength.
Flame or smoke elements can be integrated to further emphasize the fire brigade-specific theme. Overall, the design should appear robust and dynamic to reflect the competitive spirit and operational strength of the fire department. If possible, a slightly stylized design should be chosen so as not to overload the emblem.
The Maltese cross commonly used by American fire departments is to serve as the base.
It should also be designed in the same style as it will later become an emblem.
