Logo Design Brief

Greetings.
Fast Hippo is an incubator for start up and early stage businesses in the insurance and Fin tech categories in Australia.
We make small businesses larger and bulk up to scale, or bigger businesses gain speed and some momentum. Gaining size and momentum is our mantra, hence we see the ideal animal as the largest...the Hippo...but with speed.
We are a fairly cool and happening business in a traditional category so our design should reflect those modern values.
And lets face it cool cartoon style hippos or hippo faces are eye-catching so we can't see ourselves choosing a logo that does not utilise that imagery visually. Can the hippo imply speed.......moving lines or perhaps wearing a pair of sneakers ? Should the word ' Fast" have those zig zag lines feel to imply speedy movement??
