Overview
Scientia Vitae Academy is a new online educational institution based in Ghana & Portugal, offering a K-12 curriculum designed to empower the next generation with academic excellence, leadership skills, and deep-rooted cultural values. The academy emphasizes knowledge, mentorship, leadership, and a strong connection to African heritage.
Objective
Create a meaningful, timeless, and visually compelling logo that:
Represents growth, wisdom, and resilience through the imagery of the Odum Tree.
Symbolizes knowledge and academic pursuit.
Reflects mentorship and leadership development.
Appeals to parents and students alike, exuding trust, strength, and inspiration.
Key Themes
Odum Tree: A powerful symbol in Ghana, representing strength, endurance, and wisdom.
Knowledge: Books, light, open pathways, or abstract symbols of learning.
Mentorship/Leadership: Hands guiding others, rising figures, light leading the way, or interconnected branches.
Ghanaian Heritage: Subtle inclusion of Ghanaian cultural elements (such as color palette or patterns) without overwhelming the global, professional appeal.
Target Audience
Parents and guardians seeking quality education steeped in both academic rigor and cultural values.
Students from kindergarten through high school (ages 4–18).
Stakeholders and partners supporting education initiatives in Africa.
Style & Tone
Professional and Inspirational: Serious but welcoming.
Modern with Cultural Depth: Clean lines, minimal clutter, but with depth and meaning.
Warm and Trustworthy: The logo should evoke feelings of safety, hope, growth, and pride.
Flexible: It should work well in both full-color and monochrome versions, and look good at both large and small scales. Except for color changes and cultural elements, main logo should be able to be adapted to both countries
Color Palette (Suggestions)
Earth tones: Browns, greens — representing the Odum tree and growth
Gold/Yellow: For wisdom, enlightenment, and a nod to Ghana’s national colors.
Deep Red or Burgundy: Representing strength and heritage.
Logo Elements
Tree: Odum tree as the main, central symbol. Book, Light, or Path: Sub-elements to subtly symbolize knowledge and learning.
Mentorship: Perhaps visualized through multiple branches, a larger tree protecting smaller saplings, or guiding light themes.
