Hello everyone,
Hope you are doing well.
Had a couple of busy days..
Replied to most everyone with feedback, if not yet it's coming next.

A couple of generic notes I have in terms of "things to focus on" if you plan to update or submit any new designs.

In the brief I say we want a high converting design.

Research shows things which positively improve conversion are:

Case studies
Reviews/Social Proof
Build More Trust
Move Videos Higher
USPs in image/icon format
Promptly displayed guarantees
Product sales videos/gifs
Well done product descriptions
Social proof with CTAs

Tone proven to convert: urgent, conversational, informal, academic

Triggers:
Social Proof
Urgency/Fear
Money Back
Instant Gratification
Belonging

Fear & Trust are super important emotional triggers.
So seals/badges, Customer Stories
Social proof, social proof, social proof.

Also most of you have done a great job with "show, don't tell".
So instead of "telling them" we are great..
Showing it via product graphics, demo videos, reviews, etc. Either using what I gave in the brief or making some of your own.

These tips apply to my project, plus other sales pages you might work on..
So thought I'd share.

Sending love.

Oh, and FAQs too.

And comparison charts.

Habit hero vs others
Before habit hero vs after

They're a great way to say a lot visually & quickly.

Hey everyone,
Sending love.

Thought I might share some research I was doing today.

I was looking at 1+ year old paid ads for similar offers to ours.

If they've been paying to advertise the same single ad for a year, it must be working.

These aren't "apps" but were the only "habit tracking" offers with old fb ads still active I could find.
At least with more than 1 year running:

emilyexcels DOT com/products/habit-tracker-via-google-sheet

habitnest DOT com/collections/bestsellers/products/home-workout-journals?variant=42897952800927

Then, next, these two are homepages of top app store (iphone) habit tracking apps:

habitify DOT me
productiveapp DOT io

Our Habit Hero is a web app, not an app or google play store app.
It works on mobile of course.

Users can install it on any device's home screen (mobile or laptop/desktop), without downloading software from an app store.

But it means we cannot use those buttons for "Download on the App Store / Get It On Google Play" (yet - coming soon).
(In case you didn't know what the difference between a web app and native iOS / Android app is.)

Also I knew the founder of this SAAS before they got big:
Last I heard they're doing $50,000,000.00 USD/year.

This is what the sales page for a 50 million USD SAAS company looks like:
salesmessage DOT com

It's all credibility, social proof (which explain what it is/does/its benefits)

Just sharing these as food for thought.
We don't necessarily want to "be like" any of these.

We also don't have the credibility & review strength salesmessage has.
The awards, etc.. (yet).

But I'm still sharing because they're real world pages generating sales.
In case you're looking for inspiration or ideas.

Regarding this contest, my team & I have reviewed all the designs so far.
There are 41.

We are clear on the top 5 designs we like so far.
Once which share what we have & present it well.

But we're unclear which are the top 3 of those 5.
We are undecided on which would be top 1 - if we had to choose right now.

If anyone is still considering updating or submitting, that's where we are at.
DesignCrowd tells me there are 2 days left to send in designs.

If you have questions or didn't get / want feedback..
Let me know, I'm all ears.

Your success is my success..

I'll do what I can to help you, while being fair to everyone else.

Warm Regards,
Daryl

Thank you for your patience everyone.
Will be choosing our winner(s) either today or tomorrow.
I'm writing this at 11:20am my time.
So within 48hrs from now.

Super grateful for your efforts. We have some cool designs and will probably end up paying for more than 1 so we can do an A/B split test.

Regardless of if you win or no - I want you to know you have my respect and appreciation.

Warm Regards,
Daryl
