Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo for the SORTED study being run by Oxford Trauma.
SORTED is an acronym for Surgery Or Rehabilitation for Traumatic shouldEr Dislocations, a multi-centre randomised controlled study to compare the clinical and cost-effectiveness of the addition of surgery to a patient's treatment pathway compared to non-operative rehabilitation for first-time shoulder dislocation.
We need a logo to be used on digital and printed material, posters and presentations. Ideally no more than 3 colours to reduce printing costs. Some ideas we have had so far include incorporating a shoulder joint (dislocated), but feel free to explore ideas. The image is for example layout reference only and designers should NOT be influenced by colour scheme, font or general design.
