Angel for the Fireworks ~ A Liberating Journey for Poets
Add your question or comments below
Greetings, I hope you're well. I have a few questions:
1. When you talk about fireworks on a light background like pale gold... They don't show up well, could you use a dark background?
2. Is the star you mention just one, and what kind of star would you like?
3. You talk about following the graphic thread of your other two books? Could you please attach them so I know what they're like?
Thank you.
Thanks for your questions. (1) Yes! Several of the designs that have come in so far have a fairly dark background, with a yellow or gold starburst. They use white lettering. (2) There can be one starburst or more than one. I'm not talking about a literal depiction of a star. I'm looking for subtle, abstract impressions of starbursts or fireworks. (3) As for the "graphic thread," I was just referring to the fact that all three of my books used the Papyrus font on their covers. The first two covers were stock designs which I purchased from Morris Publishing, so they wouldn't have much to tell you. I did have the cover of my third book, "The Great Silk Void." crowd-designed. I'll attach it to my brief, if I can figure out how to do that. Feel free to ask me more questions, if it will help you. I already have two designs which I like very much. I'm excited to see what else your creative minds can come up with! Thanks to everyone for all their work ~ Marilyn
