Design a compelling book cover that conveys both the spirit of the story but also the book type and style.

I have attached a first sample of the book, but we are not sure this is strong enough in conveying the topic and subject for readers who might see this book cover on stores like Amazon. We challenge you to create a new design that catches the eye and tells us what to expect!

The back cover description is as follows:
