About Us:
PaintSafe is an initiative of the British Coatings Federation (BCF), focused on promoting health, safety, and best practice in the coatings industry. It’s a trusted resource for manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, and end-users to ensure safe handling and application of paints and coatings.

What We Need:
We’re looking for a refreshed logo for PaintSafe that feels:
Modern and professional
Trustworthy and approachable
Flexible across digital and print uses
The logo should acknowledge its link to the British Coatings Federation brand but also stand strong as its own identity.

Creative Freedom:
We’re open to suggestions — you don’t need to stick to the existing look. You’re welcome to explore:
Fresh typography choices
Iconography or abstract marks (e.g. shield, tick, paint-related symbolism, or something entirely different)
Colour palettes (trust and safety are often associated with blues/greens, but we’re open to other creative directions)
Wordmark-only or icon + wordmark combinations

Audience:
Coatings manufacturers and suppliers
Contractors and professional users of coatings
Regulators and industry stakeholders
Wider public audiences looking for reassurance about safety

Deliverables:
Primary logo (full colour)
Variants for light/dark backgrounds
Simplified version or icon for small-scale use (favicon, social media, etc.)
Final files: Vector (AI, SVG, EPS) and raster (PNG, JPG)

Avoid:
