OVERVIEW
Barton Springs Cleaning is seeking a new brand identity that captures our professionalism, reliability, and approachable personality. We want to give designers the flexibility to explore two distinct creative directions:
Retro/Vintage Americana ā inspired by the bold, nostalgic look of classic American signage (1950sā1970s diners, motels, and grocery stores).
Clean & Modern ā sleek, contemporary, and trustworthy, positioning us as a premium, professional cleaning service.
Designers may submit for one style or both.
SCOPE OF WORK
Option 1: Retro / Vintage Americana
Bold, hand-lettered typography and optional badge or emblem elements.
Natural, retro-inspired color palette: cream, navy, faded red, muted green.
Evoke classic Americana signage while still feeling professional and fresh.
Option 2: Clean / Modern
Sleek, contemporary aesthetic with simple forms and crisp typography.
Calming, professional color palette (e.g., soft blues, grays, or neutrals).
Should communicate trustworthiness, quality, and consistency.
DELIVERABLES
Primary logo (full color).
Secondary logo (simplified or monochrome).
Emblem/badge version (if applicable).
Font pairings (headings + body).
Final color palette with hex codes.
Exported files: vector source (AI/EPS), transparent PNG, and social-media-ready formats.
EVALUATION CRITERIA
Clear alignment with either the retro/vintage or clean/modern brief (or successful exploration of both).
Strong readability and scalability across mediums (web, print, merch).
Originality and creativity while maintaining professionalism.
