Packaging Design Brief: Milagros Incensos Export Line

1. Project Title

Packaging Design for Export Line - Milagros Incensos (European and North American Markets).

2. About Milagros Incensos

Milagros Incensos is a small Brazilian company that produces and imports incense and liturgical accessories. We are recognized for premium products and attention to detail, valuing tradition and spirituality. Our portfolio has high added value and serves a niche market in Brazil. Visit our website: www.milagros.com.br and Instagram: @Milagros_incensos.

3. Project Objective

The objective is to create packaging for export, focusing on the European and North American markets. The design must be functional, optimized for logistics, and allow for automation, while maintaining the artisanal touch and attention to detail that characterize Milagros Incensos.

4. Target Audience

Our target audience in Europe and North America values premium, spiritual, and artisanal products. This includes Catholics (churches, monasteries, religious stores) and consumers seeking well-being and meditation products, who appreciate quality, history, and sustainability. They are conscious and demanding consumers.

5. Design and Material Requirements

The packaging must be premium and artisanal, using kraft for naturalness and sustainability. The design should pay attention to details, incorporating Pantone colors and/or hotstamp for sophistication. We seek creative solutions that maintain the brand's "artisanal feel," even with automation. Functionality, product protection, and cost optimization for export are essential.

6. Challenges and Opportunities

The main challenge is the automation of assembly and packaging processes. Many of our kits were created without concern for scaling production and involve many manual steps. The designer must propose solutions that facilitate automation, but preserve the "artisanal feel" and attention to detail. Logistics and export costs for Europe and North America are critical. The opportunity is to create an innovative design that solves these challenges, strengthening the brand internationally.

7. Expected Deliverables

Expected deliverables include, but are not limited to:

Initial Concepts: Presentation of 2-3 creative directions for packaging, with sketches and mood boards.

3D Mockups: Realistic renderings of proposed packaging for visualization.

Final Art Files: Editable vectors (AI, EPS, PDF) ready for production, including color specifications, typography, and finishes.

Technical Specifications: Details on materials, dimensions, and assembly instructions that facilitate process automation.

Application Guide: A small manual with guidelines for applying the visual identity to the new packaging.

8. Desirable Knowledge (Differentiator)

Although not an eliminating requirement, a significant differentiator will be a designer with prior knowledge and/or experience in the Catholic market or in projects related to religious articles. Understanding the cultural and symbolic nuances associated with this niche can enrich the design and communication of Milagros Incensos.

9. Budget to be Defined with the Designer

The budget for this project will be discussed and agreed upon directly with the selected designer. Although we are a small company with a limited budget, we guarantee a great institutional return and visibility in various specialized and non-specialized media, due to the relevance and impact of the project. The delivery deadline will be established jointly, with the need for a reverse timeline, as we have an international fair at the end of January 2026 where we want to present at least packaging mockups. Agility is crucial for the brand's internationalization.

10. How to Submit a Proposal

Interested designers should submit their proposals containing:

Portfolio: Examples of previous work, focusing on packaging design, especially those demonstrating experience with premium products, special finishes (kraft, Pantone, hotstamp), and/or projects for international markets.

Approach: A brief description of how the designer plans to approach this project, considering the challenges of automation and maintaining the "artisanal feel."

Estimate: An initial estimate of cost and timeline, which will be refined in later discussions.

Proposals should be submitted through the platform (DesignCrowd or Freelancer.com) where this brief will be published.
