Logo Design Brief

Company Overview:

Printelligent3D is an engineering company that designs and 3D-prints high-precision technical solutions for industry. We stand for innovation, accuracy, reliability, and cutting-edge additive manufacturing.

Project Goal:

We already have two existing logo concepts (generated via AI) that we like and are attached for reference. Your mission is to refine, polish, and perfect one or both of these directions while staying recognisably close to what we already love.
At the same time, we are open to braver, superior proposals if you genuinely believe you can create something significantly better – as long as the new design still feels like “Printelligent3D” and respects the rules below.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

Primary colour: Klein Blue (International Klein Blue)
Hex: #002FA7 (or exact Pantone equivalent if you work in print)
This colour MUST dominate the logo. It is our core brand colour and cannot be replaced or reduced to an accent.

Core symbolic elements we currently love (keep or elegantly evolve):
A modern gear (symbolising engineering precision)
A 3D-printing nozzle and/or emerging cube/build (symbolising additive manufacturing)
Clean, contemporary, technical aesthetic

Wordmark: “Printelligent3D Custom Engineering Solutions"
Prefer sans-serif, geometric, modern fonts that feel engineered and futuristic, currently using Monserrat and Aptos.
You may propose better font pairings, but they must remain highly legible at small sizes and feel premium/technical

Deliverables (for the winning design):

Source files: Fully layered and editable Adobe Illustrator (.ai) + EPS
High-resolution PNGs with transparent background (full colour + single-colour versions)
Black & white version (positive and reversed)
Full-colour 3D/render-style version suitable for website hero, social media, and animation (delivered as PNG + source if created in Blender/Cinema4D/etc.)
Simple brand guideline page showing correct colours (hex, RGB, CMYK), minimum size, clear space, and do/don’t usage

Variations Required:

Primary horizontal logo
Stacked version (if applicable)
Icon/mark-only version (for favicons, app icons, etc.)
Single-colour (Black and White) version for engraving, embroidery, etc.

What We Are Looking For:

Ultimate polish and professionalism
Perfect alignment, balance, kerning, and optical adjustments
Scalable from favicon (16×16 px) to billboard
Modern but timeless – not trendy gimmicks that date quickly
A mark that instantly communicates “precision 3D engineering”

Freedom Granted:

If you have a stronger concept, a more refined symbol, a better typeface, or an improved colour palette that still keeps Klein Blue as the unmistakable hero colour – go for it. Surprise us. The best design wins, whether it’s a careful refinement or a bold evolution.

• – Primary colour must be Klein Blue (#002FA7) – Feeling of precision, innovation, and medical-grade reliability – Works perfectly at tiny sizes (favicons) and huge sizes (trade-show banners) – Clean enough to laser-etch or emboss on metal/plastic parts

Nice to have

• – Subtle nod to veterinary/medical (e.g., very discreet paw, caduceus-style snake, or anatomical curve) – only if it looks premium and not childish – A version of the mark that can stand alone as an app icon

Should not have

• Should NOT Have – Cartoon animals or paw prints as the main symbol – Gradients or heavy effects that don’t reproduce well in single colour – Script or handwriting fonts – Red or green as dominant colours
