Postcard Design Brief
We are looking for new Christmas greeting cards designed for our company Pro Service.
We have uploaded scans of our previous Christmas cards, each in a different format. These represent our usual style and the visual direction we would like to continue.
This year, we need updated designs featuring our new company logo.
What we are looking for:
We appreciate creative, clever and elegant designs, not generic or stock-looking graphics.
The card should feel modern, warm, and suitable for corporate clients (banks, clinics, companies, property managers but also private clients). It should be creative and sophisticated, but not too playful or cartoon-like.
Designers may also take inspiration from our cards from previous years, especially the way they used stylized graphic elements (such as water shapes or grass-like lines) to subtly reference our three sectors:
Cleaning
Gardening
Pest Control
These references must be minimal, subtle and elegant — not literal illustrations (no tools, animals, pests, etc.). Just small hints that connect the design to our identity.
Use of the Logo:
A more creative use of our new logo is highly appreciated.
We prefer layouts where the logo is integrated into the concept, not simply placed at the bottom.
Card Format:
We do not have a fixed size requirement.
You are free to choose the dimensions as long as the card is not too large (not an A4) and not too small, so that all elements remain readable and visually clear.
Vertical or horizontal formats are both welcome.
Required Sides:
The card must include both sides:
Front side: the main Christmas illustration
Back side: a space where we will insert a short thank-you message for our clients and our wishes for the new year
Text:
You may use a placeholder such as “Merry Christmas and Happy New Year” for now.
The final text will be added later. If you feel inspired, feel free to write something nice, clever, as long as it fits overall tone and style.
Tone & Purpose:
The card should:
creatively recall our logo and identity, subtly reference what we do, feel warm and corporate-friendly, express our thanks for working with us throughout the year, deliver Christmas and New Year greetings in a refined, modern way.
