Logo Design Brief

BayFix Logo Brief (short + clear)

Goal
Create a modern, high-end BayFix logo that feels timeless (not “nautical/2010s”). It should be soft, approachable, and premium—customers should instantly trust it and want the brand.

Brand feel
Luxury, calm confidence, clean, minimal, high-trust. “Premium building specialist” (not a marine/boat company).

Key requirement
Include an anchor idea, but subtly. Avoid a literal anchor icon. Use an implied anchor through:
* negative space, or
* a simple abstract mark, or
* a custom letter detail in the wordmark.

Style direction
* Custom wordmark (modern editorial serif OR refined soft sans)
* Minimal, uncluttered, balanced spacing
* Soft curves/rounded details where it helps (no sharp pirate points)
*Option with a soft stoner travertine backround

Avoid
* Obvious anchor icons, crests/badges, “maritime brand” look
* Gradients, shadows, overly thin lines
* Anything that won’t work small (favicon) or stitched (embroidery)

Colour
Primary: deep ink navy / near-black.
Must work in single-colour black and white.

Must work for
Van signage, website header + favicon, uniforms/screen printing, invoices.

Please explore 2–3 concept routes

1. Wordmark with hidden/implied anchor detail
2. Abstract anchor-inspired icon + clean wordmark
3. Simple monogram mark that still feels “anchored/stable”

Deliverables
Primary logo, secondary lockup, icon only, black/white versions, SVG/AI/PDF + PNG.
