Logo Design Brief

I'm a program manager overseeing the merger of two organizations. Both organizations have a logo and I want to create a new logo that captures elements of the legacy designs but also incorporates new elements to represent the future of the organization. Both organizations are military, one focuses on infantry Soldiers, the other focuses on mounted platforms like Abrams Tanks and Strykers. I would like something that integrates these two concepts into one. I've also provided a very raw concept that I generated on AI but am no means tied to this vision.
