Logo Design Brief
The New Scotland Historical Association, located in the Town of New Scotland, NY, has been around for over 50 years but has never had a logo! We have launched a strategic plan and need an engaging logo to bring the association into the modern era! We preserve and promote the history of the Town of New Scotland, NY. Please see our website and social media pages! (newscotlandhistory.org and https://www.facebook.com/NewScotlandHistory/ ) We want to engage new audiences and generate interest to sustain the organization into the future. We need the logo to contain our full name (unfortunately no one would recognize NSHA) and tagline "History is Now." We thought it would be unique for the logo to be in the shape of the town, but we are open to other shapes. We'd like it to contain a graphic/horizon line of the iconic Helderberg Escarpment. Color ideas are orange for Dutch roots and blue for Scottish roots but we are open. We'd like a logo that dispels the notion that history is boring!
