Logo Design Brief

Lighthouse Vision Clinic is an eye clinic in Fargo, ND located inside a walmart store. The vision clinic is a completely separate entity.

services center around quality vision prescriptions and quality ocular examination.

Routine Vision examinations provide valuable detection management of potential vision problems. It is for this reason that I chose the Lighthouse symbol to brand my mission to provide quality eyecare.

The attached item is a temporary business card that i pieced together for the time being. I'm not completely committed to the colors used in it but I really like the base of the lighthouse because it makes the setting look like it is on land and not the middle of the ocean.

Ideas for the logo include an outline of a lighthouse with the light shining into a simple eye drawing. or a lighthouse with an eye in the top near where the light would be or a light shining out of they eye at the top. Also a lighthouse shining into the outline of an eye but this may not be the best Idea since patients really hate the bright lights shining into their eyes during an eye exam. I have also seen logos that look really good with the clinic symbol within the pupil of an eye. I think any of these ideas would work.
North Dakota does not have many lighthouses but I still believe the lighthouse is the best symbol for the clinic brand, since we're so far from the ocean I wanted the logo to focus on the lighthouse and not the sea since we live in the middle of the prairie and only have small lakes and rivers.
