Minimalist Typographic Tattoo – "Eliminate IF"
Tattoo Design Brief
I am looking for a clean, impactful tattoo design that serves as a personal life mantra: Eliminate the word "IF" from my life.
In the past, I’ve allowed fear or hesitation to hold me back, leaving me to deal with the lingering regret of wondering "what if?" I am actively shifting my mindset to take action, face outcomes, and destroy that speculation. I want a design on my body that encapsulates this commitment.
Core Concept:
The central focus of the tattoo is the word "IF" (or "SI"), clearly crossed out, slashed through, or negated. It needs to read as a deliberate statement of elimination, boundary, and taking control.
Design Directions & Ideas:
- Visual Style: Open to stylized typography, clean minimalist block fonts, typewriter text, or modern architectural/geometric styles.
- Symbolic Elements: Open to concepts like the word "IF" inside an international "no/prohibited" symbol (a circle with a diagonal slash—see attached reference), a bold line strike-through, or a clean geometric cross-out.
- Color Palette: Open to both single-color (stark black ink) or subtle multi-color accents (e.g., black typography with a bold red slash/strike-through).
- Placement Context: This will be placed on the inner bicep, so the design should work well in a horizontal or slightly compact layout that looks sharp on a smaller canvas.
Deliverables:
- High-resolution vector files (AI, EPS, or high-res PNG).
- Clean line art that a tattoo artist can easily stencil onto skin.
