Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for a my new company, Pet Pasture. It addresses the need for dogs (and owners) living in high rise apartments without a backyard, to conveniently and naturally have access to a real grass area to do their business. The grass (sod) is approx. 16" x 25" and comes housed in a sturdy cardboard box (made from recycled materials) (Imagine a large pizza box with grass in it!). The box can be used inside or on a balcony/patio. The grass will last 1-2 weeks (depending on how often the dog uses it) and then the grass + box can be thrown out or recycled (where facilities exist). A new box + grass is delivered to you (weekly or bi-weekly) so the dog always has a fresh area of grass.

The design I imagine is an modern animated dog, standing (or perhaps sitting) on a piece of grass (in a box) with the dog being all black,. The grass should be a vivid green color. The box, if depicted in the logo should be white(?). The actual cardboard box itself will be white or a kraft color. The words PET PASTURE can be on the right side of the dog logo, or below, or the logo in the middle of the words. I like all lower case like petpasture. With a simple, clean, modern print (bauhaus?), using black and green print (maybe pet in black and pasture in green) Under that, the tag line "A REAL grass doggie bathroom" (all black I think). Basically, I would like people to be able to know what the product is (or have a good idea) from the image, because "pet pasture" is not really self explanatory. If you have any other ideas of your own, I would be pleased to see them!! My inspiration for this product was my little chihuahua/pom cross...Nikos! (black doggie in the photo).

Dog owners who live in a highrise apartment/condo style dwelling, where there isn't an outdoor space for their dog. They probably have a balcony or patio, but not a backyard. Also the product can be used at vet's offices, kennels, doggie daycares, pet stores...etc. But the main target audience is small -medium sized dogs and their owners!
