Logo Design Brief
We are creating a tool to help students in Singapore study and apply what they have learnt in school. We need an appealing, fresh and teenager-friendly (the target market is high school and college students so it shouldn’t look too childish) logo bearing the name “Mugger”, with an accompanied graphic logo. The orientation and placement of the logo can be experimented with.
The term “mugger” is loosely used to refer to overzealous students or jokingly to students who secretly study in very hard in order to outdo their peers and thus claim credit for having naturally superior intelligence.
We have narrowed our design theme to the following concepts. We would like to have 3 main elements in the logo.
1) The word 'mugger' - preferably in lower case
2) A symbol of education - we would like to see the use of an illustration of a book or brain (we're open to more suggestions)
3) Electronic / Technology based - it's an e-learning site so it should show a 'digital' feel to it. We've shortlisted the use of circuit board wiring and wifi-like image
The 3 elements above are mandatory for the logo. We would like to see other suggestions based on them if you think you've got a better idea! The logo should have a fun and colourful feel and should not have human figures.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Hi guys, you would have noticed a couple of changes so far. We've INCREASED our budget to $300 (we know it's not a million bucks, but it's all we can really afford now and we know you understand! :)) and we've EXTENDED our deadline to the 20th of march. It's a very clear design brief now and we've finalised what we're looking for exactly. Sorry for being rather undecided in the past. Please take a read of the brief once again to see what we're looking for and we really look forward to selecting our design in the next 10 days.
