Logo Design Brief
After running many logo competitions for our clients, we now need a new logo for ourselves.
We are a web design company based in Tauranga, New Zealand. We specialise in content managed websites, ecommerce websites, and online software solutions. We also look after website hosting, email hosting, search engine marketing, and website maintenance and management.
We are a group of young designers and coders, so would like the design to be unique and 'fresh', however our main target market consists of business people, so the logo must also be professional and clear.
We are in the process of redesigning our website (www.inspyre.co.nz) and will reprint all printed media - this is going to be a full rebrand, based around our new logo, so don't feel constrained by any of our existing styles or colours. However I have uploaded a screenshot of our current website and logo, to show you what our previous branding has been.
We may even commission the successful logo designer to work with us on more of our branding, such as business cards, printed media and website design, if the design is successful.
We quite like the idea of coming across as a 'hipster' company, with colourful pastels or a unique branding scheme.
Ultimately, we are very open to ideas. We know how this industry works - if we don't agree with a font we know it can be changed. We know colours can be altered. Nothing is ever set in stone. So give us your wildest ideas, and we will see what stands out :)
Updates
Thanks everyone for your designs so far! They are wonderful! We have received a lot of stereotypically 'IT' style designs, some of which are definitely under consideration! However, we are also interested in seeing some logos that move away from traditional 'computer people' style, and give a more personal, clever, unique and daring look - something that pushes the boundaries of normality.

Our target market are businesses who want a new website or software package. Our customers are mainly business owners or managers - we want to appeal to both small companies who need a website (plumbers & electricians) as well as large, well-established companies with big money to burn.
