Hi IC - what is required to convert jpegs to the formats you suggest?  Can you send the screenshot without me posting my email address here?

well, unfortunately I cannot do it through here...If you are not comfortable posting your e-mail on here- that is ok- once I upload my artwork to you- sometime Monday- I will include a screenshot of what I am talking about- that way you will be able to see how it looks at 100% and if you like the design I can do the conversions for you and "place" the high res files in ( sometimes these little things are barely noticeable- especially since this will be viewed at some distance not as close as reading a book) so, it just depends on how you feel about it.

There is no way to convert a jpeg logo to eps ( vector ) the only way to do it would be to have the "native" file such as Illustrator and then go from there and save it as eps.

I hope that clears things up a bit.

I am definitely excited to submit my idea to you!

I guess I don't mind posting my email address - just wasn't sure at first. It's kguerry@greenercap.com.

Thanks for commenting on the photo resolutions. I'm still a bit confused though. One designer told me that I should go on Fotolia and look for some images that can be used for this project since a very high resolution is required for media of this size. You are talking about placing high res files in later, after converting them. I don't want you to have to spend a lot of time answering my questions, just wish I had a better understanding of what I need. I'm concerned I'll find images that ultimately won't be able to be used for the finished product because they aren't high enough resolution.

Thanks so much.

Hi,
I agree that resolution of the images supplied is too low - they are obviously taken from the website. For printing banner of such size as 36 inches wide you would need the resolution of 200dpi and the size of the images of about half of the size of the banner. So the size of the files would be in a range of 10-20Mb each. It can be a problem to find such images free on internet. It would be good if you could supply them.

Thank you Katerina. I'm learning. I'm happy to pay for any photos ultimately selected for our banner designs by the designer. I just posted some free images with the intention of purchasing them in the appropriate resolution if they were used in the final designs.
