We need a web design & logo for a new company based in the UK called 'Armadillo Pets'. We are a pet sitting and dog walking business, and need a web presence for attracting and communicating with clients.
As part of this design, we wish to include vector-drawn link buttons along the top of the page in the shape of a variety of animals gripping small banners in a 'cute' style using blank space. The links should be for 'Walking', 'Visiting', 'Sitting', 'Boarding', 'Pet Taxi', 'Prices', 'Contact Us', 'Links', 'FAQ', 'T&Cs' and 'Home'.
We are aiming to market at dogs, small animals (hamsters, rats, guinea pigs, etc), exotic animals (mammals, reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates), birds, and small-holder species (goats, chickens, ducks, etc). The animals you might like to use are: dog/puppy, rabbit, hamster, rat, goldfish, pygmy hedgehog, gecko, parrot, duck, chicken, etc. Please do not include cats/kittens within the design (trying to avoid encouraging this type of business, as I'm allergic!). I'm particularly keen on including a dog and a pygmy hedgehog in the design.
Please also avoid use of photos within the design as we have a staff photographer and plan to include photographs of our own on the appropriate pages.
Some of the pages require space for additional links to specify service or species. These can be in small icons, or text format, either horizontally or vertically. Other pages do not require sub-linking. For example the 'Sitting' page would need four sub-pages for small pets, birds, exotic pets, and small-holders, whereas the 'Contact Us' page has no sub-pages.
The home page should include space for a Twitter feed.
The logo should be in a similar blank-space 'cute' style of an Armadillo including the name 'Armadillo Pets' in a flowing, easily legible script.
Designs should be themed to purple shades - nothing too garish.
We will require all individual graphics (logo, icons, and the PSD file). In the case of logo and icons, null background is preferred.
All fonts used must be readily available online.
