Logo Design Brief
Quirky – unique for our area, both in product and store design
Cow – indicative of our area/region – lots of dairy farming and we own cows as well
Gifts – stocking average gift lines like jewellery,childrens section etc but uniqueness and where 'for a piece of kiama' comes from is that we will have local artists, makers creating one off pieces for our store, also local jams/chutneys, tea - all locally sourced.
Shop Feel
Eclectic/timbers/industrial/bright colour wine barrels
We are not saying that our product will all be quirky (limiting our customer base)
But our product will be be unique and in most instances exclusive
One off pieces made locally
Unusual ranges for a gift shop - like loose leaf tea, local art & photography,handmade bags and childrens stuff

Cow implications but definitely not a whole cow or face
Be sure that the logo represents the name, ie: Use ‘quirky’concept
eg: When it comes to colours you would use colour instead of black and white spots
Logo colours – please consider shop feel and theme – so give us what you think? Get creative!
Feel – not to indicate expensive but, the product will certainly be stylish but affordable
Our store is around alot of competition but our look is embracing the country feel and product will not be like any other store. It is set in the main street of very traditional type shopfronts.

hi everyone, currently working on our project - I just wanted to stress that we are wanting something unusual - to match the quirky name. Please think of cmaybe a circlular shape or some other. We are getting mostly standard lines and I think this stylish quirky store needs more than that. Also colour is so important, once again we do not want black as the predominant colour - we are thinking crazy colours should be the theme - we have coloured glass lights and bright coloured wine barrels in the shop, everything else will be timbers and steels, so a bright logo will be great.

Hello to all designers
we have received just about all designs focusing ONLY on the cow theme - whilst the attention grab is the cow the business is selling gifts - we need to communicate this. Not with the word so much but how about with some graphic? I would love to see the quirkiness of the cow concept but of course telling people we are selling these great unusual gifts.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: We have not received the right logo as yet - we want the main message to be a gift with cow implications - most of the designs have been the other way round. Also we are a stylish gift store, so the logo should show this.

- Ideally people should smile when they look at the logo, so a humourous side to it with a quirky feel - get creative like gumboots with a tiara on a cow print shape ...just suggesting how open we are having said that still be mindful that we dont look too weird as we have a high seniors/conservative market..

- Not boring and sterile , NO COW in it even though cow impressions are ok..
