Thank you for the invite just a couple of questions.
Will you need backgrounds behind the elements ie building blocks or just stand alone pictures? Plus do you have sizes or shapes in mind, ie portrait or landscape or would you just fit the text around the pictures?
One last thing would you be happy with the style I submitted for Sweeter When Shared or did you have something else in mind? I ask because that was quite a quick style for me produced in photoshop layers and it would work better with your budget.

Hi Wendie, thank you very much for your questions and your interest in this project! I really appreciated your illustrations in December and I always hoped to work with you again.

Regarding your questions, I will not need backgrounds behind the elements. Just stand alone elements will be fine, as long as they as cute and sweet as the book will be for babies and new parents.

The size of each page will be 5.625 by 5.625 square inches. My plan is to put text on one page, and images on the opposite page, so there will be no need to fit text around the pictures.

I was very happy with your style in Sweeter When Shared, but if you have a few different styles that you enjoy, perhaps you could submit one of the images in a few styles and then I could let you know which is best suited to this story?

Hello Roopal,

The book will be quite small (5.625 by 5.625 square inches), so the necessary illustrations are also very small. If you have some designs in mind, I would be very pleased to see a sample.

Hi Wendie, just one other note - I will need to be able to change the skin, hair and eye colors of all the babies and adults, so those elements would need to be in layers.

In terms of colors generally, the book will be for both boys and girls, so neutral colors such as green and yellow would be better than too much pink or blue.
