Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new preschool that we are opening in Murfreesboro, TN. We currently have a base logo for our other businesses that is somewhat outdated and I want to start with a clean sheet on this business. The name of this school is "Northside Christian Academy". The model for this preschool is going to be somewhat different from our other schools. This school is going to be more of a "higher end" school with a Montessori-like feel. We would like a logo that inspires confidence and character building for our new students. The color scheme is muted, so that we will have the color of the children's artwork be the "pop" in our centers. The colors that we are using are the following colors from Sherwin Williams paint company. You can go to the website and I think that they can give you the RGB to match, or closely match the colors - or you can pick a complimentary color yourself. Color #1 - SW0038 LIBRARY PEWTER Color #2 - SW6102 PORTABELLO Color # 3 - SW7018 DOVETAIL
I might like either a tie in with 3 stars or a Celtic Knot, or eagle - owl - or something that symbolizes strength, knowledge and confidence.

Although this is a Christian preschool, I want to refrain from putting a Cross or Fish in the symbol. I want our actions to speak to our Christian ideals instead of the logo.
