Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for a new company based in Australia, called Sigma Your Life. It is a wellness/stress management program. Think of it as the next "7 Habits for Highly Effective People" book/Seminar. It is a stress management program that provides a practical, grounded and warm/caring approach to helping people solve problems in their work and personal lives. I have a background in engineering and self-help. I have used my background in both areas to develop a process for "life management". The logo MUST have the mathematical symbol: σ in it. I am open to colors. The design should communicate practical/grounded but approachable and warm.
Tag line: At Sigma Your Life we not only teach you how to fish; we give you the fishing pole.
