Logo Design Brief
I need a logo design for a new company I am starting based out Rochester, NY. The start-up will be producing engineering drawings otherwise known as blueprints for commercial buildings and residential subdivisions. I will be specializing in site development and building reconstruction. My designs will include parking lots, utilities, sidewalks, earthwork, and also the complete remodel and reconstruction of severely outdated or dilapidated buildings. We will also be offering project and construction management. I would like one color in the logo to be blue. I would like to communicate simplicity and clarity in the design.
Color - It has to work well when printed in black and white since the drawings will be B&W prints.
Symbol - I don't need letters, how about mesh or something environmental or a building.
Format - Text has to be on right hand side. It has to fit on a drawing title block in a business card size square.
