Logo Design Brief
We need a logo design for a restaurant based in Denver, Colorado. The name of the restaurant, Blue Plains Tavern, comes from the 'blue' representing the fish and the 'plains' representing some of the meat offered. The fish will vary from salmon and cod to mahi and ahi. The meat will typically be beef, pork, lamb and buffalo. It will be a casual tavern with an emphasis on quality food but will have a bar area and some tv's being that Denver is a big sports city. As many local products as we can will be local as well. Feel free to mess with the name; BluePlains Tavern, Blue Plains Tavern. Its doesn't have to be all text as well. If there is a way to incorporate the thought of the 'blue' or water and the plains together feel free to take that angle.
The sketch that I included is a very, very rough idea of something along the lines of what I was thinking. I could go for either an abstract take on the plains and water or a realistic. The thick line through the middle was if it were to be a rectangle shape instead of a half circle. Hopefully this will help.
