Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new company called Redhawk Research LLC. We are a data analytics and technology company that builds specialized, cutting edge software solutions in the financial services and government/defense industries. We differentiate ourselves by 1) creating highly efficient, easy to use user experiences in data intensive environments;and 2) complex but efficient analytics driving leading edge data science output. We are looking for a pictorial or abstract mark. The logo should convey maturity, be simple, and look modern. The logo should work in B&W, grayscale and color. If using color, we are partial to incorporating a spectrum of shades of red with the more dominant reds in the design being darker or burnt shades of red. The logo needs to be something that would look good in any application, be it on letterhead, online, watermark, business card, clothing, blind stamped, etc.
