Banner Ad Design Brief

I need a 300x250 static gif banner ad for a web site/online newsletter that we advertise on. We're a B2B software company, and the audience for this banner ad is medical device development team leads and managers. We would like to see designs that use blue (mainly), accent colors of orange, bright green, and purple are OK, too. This is a text heavy add but that can't be changed. I'm attaching our corporate logo, the copy file (Summit News.doc), latest version of our style guide, and an example of a previous ad we've done (which we don't necessarily need to/want to recreate). We want something that is pleasing to look at, easy to read, and gets someone to click through to the landing page.
