The 1200 x 300 is the full banner displayed on top of the detail page of the solution.

The 280 x 205 is a condensed version displayed on the left of a summary of the solution in a page with other solution above / below others (e.g. in a search result).

So the 280 x 205 as the "side logo" and the 1200 x 300 as the expanded "header logo"
