Hi there, sounds like a cool project to me.

I am planning on designing something very simple, clean but colourful and fun, vector based however ideally I would like to see images of the members of the band as well as a link to their music for inspiration.

Much of our music isn''t necessarily "fun" in my opinion.  Our every day personalities are, but our music usually takes more of a darker tone.  I think using black with perhaps reds, yellows, etc. would work best.  Not to say that you have to only use those colors.  We defer to you for your expertise.  I hope the music and images serve you well.
